Mrs. Geraldine E. "Nanna" Chaves, age 81 of Heritage Road, Bristol, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Ernest J. Chaves. Born in Daingerfield, TX, a daughter of the late Raymond C. and Mary (Murphy) Easley. She previously lived in Needham, MA before moving to Bristol in 1966. Nanna was a waitress and hostess at Bickfords formerly in Seekonk for many years she also worked at the Monte Vista formerly in Seekonk and the former Marcello's Restaurant in Swansea. She loved gardening, reading and was an avid Red Sox fan.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Mary J. Moore and her husband John of North Kingstown, Robert D. McAdam of Warren, Elizabeth A. Johnson and her husband David of Warren and William A. McAdam of Bristol, thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, her sisters and brother, Maxine Schools, Joyce Cato, Patsy Moore, Tina Easley and Harold Dwayne Easley all of Texas. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy E. McAdam, brothers, R.C., Ralph, Curtis, and William Easley and a sister, Mary Frances Harris
