Born in Nephi, a daughter of Angus and Ada Sperry Ingram, Alta Jean Ingram Jackson, 80, passed away of heart failure. Married to Edwin D. Jackson in the Manti Temple July 20, 1945, she was the mother to Reggie Lynn Jackson (Kathy) and Jeannine Jackson Baker (Dean).
In addition to her husband and two children, survivals include one brother, Jack Ingram (Collen); four sisters, Connie Shepherd (late, Homer), Norma York (Doug), Patsy Lofgran (Gene), and Dee Anna Fisher (Frank); 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her parents Angus and Ada Ingram and one great-grandson, Jesse D. Byington, predecease Jean.
