Amelia Tandy Seay, 83, Trenton, died at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Maddux Funeral Home, Pembroke, with the Rev. Gayla Webb officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday.

A native of Todd County, she was born Oct. 1, 1918, the daughter of the late Davis and Datha Shanklin Tandy. She was a retired switchboard operator at Western State Hospital and was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Homemakers Club. She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. Her husband, Malcolm Seay, died in 1984.

Survivors include a son, Lewis Tandy Seay, Trenton; two daughters, Jane Carolyn Glass, Hopkinsville, Pamela Massie, Fairview; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
