Dana Lee Nichols, 91, Canton Street, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Covington’s Convalescent Center of natural causes. Services will be at noon Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Belcher officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery at Pembroke. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time for the service. Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Whiteland, Ind., she was born Feb. 12, 1917, the daughter of the late Brown and Lana Keith Logsdon. Her husband, Claude W. Nichols, preceded her in death. A son, William Manning Nichols, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and had worked in the cafeteria at Koffman Middle School and Hopkinsville Middle School. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, James Hubert Nichols, Hopkinsville; two daughters, Wanda Nichols Lancaster, Cathy Nichols Lile, both of Hopkinsville; three sisters, Hazel Wilhoyte, Louisville, Wilma Buckner, Lucille Adams, both of Hopkinsville, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
