Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
A native of Christian County, she was born Jan. 7, 1950. She was the daughter of Dorothy DeGeorge Carroll Cohoon, Hopkinsville, and the late James Thurmon Carroll. She also was the stepdaughter of the late Irving Gilbert Cohoon. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Christian County school system, where she taught 29 years at Highland Elementary School and Attucks and Christian County middle schools. She was a charter member of the Rainbow Assembly, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hopkinsville Aerie, a member of the Alpha Nu chapter of the Alpha Delta Kappa International Sorority for Women Educators and a Worthy Matron in the Eastern Star. She was president-elect of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hopkinsville Aerie.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, a brother, Frank David Cohoon, Hopkinsville; and three sisters, Alice Cohoon Pryor, Hopkinsville, Betty Jo Carroll Pollock, Homewood, Ill., and Mrs. Jerry (Kathy Carroll) Vaughn, Christian County.
