Born in Walker County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Reno Eugene McWilliams and Elizabeth Augusta GUILLE McWilliams. A resident of Ware Shoals since 1966, she was retired from the SC Education Association. She was a graduate of West Georgia College and was an ordained deacon and elder in active service in the Ware Shoals First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beth Bird of Knoxville, TN and Mrs. Margaret Bagwell of Greenwood, SC., a brother, Eugene McWilliams of Union City, TN, a sister, Mrs. Frances Blais of Greenville, SC, and five grandchildren.
