Enid (Rimel) Foster 1916-2015

Enid Foster, 98, of Enterprise, also of Wenden, Ariz., died Aug. 26, 2015 in Enterprise.

Enid was born Oct. 10, 1916, in Asotin, Wash., to Pearl Guy Rimel and Florance Frances Wilsey. She attended Asotin High School. Her siblings are Flo Rimel Clift, Duane Rimel, Joy Rimel Autrey Wernecke, Dwight Rimel, and Gail Rimel.

Over the course of her life she also resided in Wilsey, Ariz., Yuma, Ariz., and in Enterprise.

She was married three times: to Ben Tippett, Ralph Tippett, and to Bud Kelsey Elmer Foster.

Enid was employed at Enterprise Hotel and at Wallowa Memorial Hospital. She held an EMT certificate.

She enjoyed her flower garden, wine, baseball and golf. She was a member of Elks Lodge #1829 and IOOF.

Among her survivors are son, Kelly Foster, of Vancouver, Wash., and grandson, Luke Foster, also of Vancouver.

Husband Bud Foster preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Enterprise, Saturday, Sept. 5, at noon. A graveside service will follow. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
