Anna Mae Thompson, 78, of Salt Lake City, died July 17, 1991 in St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis Missouri, of heart failure.

Born September 23, 1912 in Parkston, South Dakota to John and Loretta Schiffman Bluel. Married Alton (Tommy) Thompson November 9, 1929 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They were a dedicated and loving couple for 61 years.

Survived by her husband, Salt Lake City; sisters, Ethel Schenefelt and Loretta Mohrlang, both of Cheyenne, Wyoming; also three children, son, Clive of Hockessin, Deleware; two daughters, Anita Fender, Layton, Utah; and Bonnie Falkner, West Valley City; also left to mourn her passing are nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Cathedral Parish, and an active member of the Ladies of Elks, and the Daughters of Elkdom. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her many friends.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Hospital Chapel. A vigil service will be held Wednesday, 8 p.m., at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call Wednesday, 7-8 p.m. Committal Service, Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association, 645 East. 400 So. SLC, Ut 84102.
