Shawnee and Wewoka resident Charley Andrew Goodnight died Tuesday in a Shawnee nursing home. He was 84.
Goodnight was born July 18, 1910 in Trousdale and worked for the Works Progress Administration and also farm work. He worked for Nelson's Furniture Store in Wewoka for several years also.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Webb and Annie Goodnight; and two brothers, Elvis and Clayton Goodnight.
