Services in memory of Mrs. Rachel Duffield, widow of the late William Duffield, were held in the M.E. church on Tuesday, May 2d. at 3 o'clock p.m., Rev. J. Lloyd Williams officiating. The remains were brought to this place (Chapmanville), her former home, for interment, being accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Anna Fleming, of Norwood, Ill., with whom the deceased had resided for some time preceding her death. Her sons, Charles and Mae Duffield, of VanWert, O., and sisters, Mrs. James Buchanan and Mrs. William Strawbridge, both of Breedtown, and her son-in-law, James Peebles, and daughter, Miss Jennie, of Cherrytree, attended the funeral services.
