Vada Josephine Cook, 89, died on August 3, 2006, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. Survivors include: three daughters, Peggy Jo Tashima, Judy Kay Tripp, and Cathy Herigon; one brother, Harl Mallow; two sisters, Geraldine Nichols and Verl Oliver; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation for Vada will be Friday, August 4, 2006, 5 p.m., at Sassmann's Funeral Chapel in Belle. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2006, at 10:30 a.m., at the Liberty Church of Christ in Belle, Mo. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Sassmann's Funeral Service Belle, Missouri.
