Queen Victoria Culp was the 5th of eight children born to James "JJ" Jackson Culp and his wife Susan "Betty" Elizabeth Montague. She was attending college when she heard the eloquent Mr. Aubrey Lorane Wilson lecturing. The couple met, married in Obion, TN. on 8 June 1911 and had 4 children: Elizabeth, George, Jack and Aubrey. Widowed at the age of 37 when her husband died from tuberculosis, Victoria provided for her children by being an expert seamstress in Mayfield. Later in life on 29 Jan 1958 in Mayfield she married Mr. Adair. She was fondly known to her grandchildren and kin as "Toddie" (pronounced Toadie).
