The homegoing celebration will be held at 11 am Friday at Union Baptist Church.
Minister Carter, a graduate of Kingsway Christian College and member of Faith Tabernacle, is survived by her children, Claude (Brenda) Wilkins, LaTonya Wilkins, Brian Wilkins and DeAndre Carter; her mother, Ruth Williams; siblings, Deborah and Michael Williams; her grandchildren, Riliegh and Dominick Wilkins, Dalton Parrott and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held starting at 10 am Thursday, May 1, with family present from 6 to 8 pm.
