A house party in a quiet Jupiter neighborhood ended in tragedy after a 21-year-old was fatally stabbed.
About 10 people, mostly in their 20s, were drinking at the party Thursday night at 161 Hampton Circle when a fight erupted, then spilled out into the streeet.
John B. Collins, 21, was stabbed in the chest. He managed to wander onto a nearby front porch.
Police were called just after midnight this morning. Collins was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at about 2:26 a.m.
A dive team was searching a lake near the home this afternoon after police received a tip that a weapon was thrown into it.
