FRANCES DUDLEY WILLIAMS JAMESON
ENFIELD- Frances Dudley Williams Jameson died after a brief illness on September 8, 2004 at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Frances was born on June 11, 1930, the daughter of Meryl and Mayme Dudley. She is the beloved wife of Richard Jameson and loving mother to son Gregory Williams and wife Diane of Enfield and daughter Heidi and husband Erl (Tyke) Seavey of Norton, Mass., step mother to Susie Smith and husband Ray of Bangor and Julie Monroe and husband Steve of Orono. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Amy MacDougall and husband James of Enfield, Aaron Williams and wife Jessica of Howland, Sarah and Melissa Seavey of Norton Mass.; step grandchildren Emily and Annie Monroe, Lilly and Elliott Smith; three great grandchildren whom she adored, James MacDougall, Erynn and Andrew Williams; sister Joy Lovejoy of Michigan and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Frances was a dental assistant for Dr. Albert Gulesian, Jr. before attending nursing school at EMVTI in Bangor at the age of 46. She was a nurse at Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln for 17 years before retiring. She was an active member of the Enfield Elders and belonged to the First Christian Church in Vero Beach, Florida where she spent her winter months.

She was predeceased by first husband, James Williams of nearly 44 years, brothers Gilbert Dudley, James Dudley, Sam Dudley and sister Marjorie Doane.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at West Enfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Maria Guereca officiating. Friends and family are invited to the Grange Hall in Enfield after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the First Christian Church, 1921 27th Ave.; Vero Beach, Florida 32960.Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
