Mary Jeanne Davis died December 27, 1995 of natural causes.

Born in Brigham City, Utah, June 16, 1919, to Lula Fife and William E. Rockwood; raised by Art Jarvis and Lula Fife Jarvis. She graduated from South High School and from St. Marks Nursing School as a registered nurse. Jeanne married James J. Davis on May 4, 1941. Following his death in 1965, she returned to nursing and hospital management at Cottonwood Hospital where she retired in 1982. During her life, she was active in Lynds Chapter #1, Order of Eastern Star, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Job's Daughters, and P.E.O. Chapter AB. Jeanne has touched the lives of many people and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by three daughters, Jacquelin Lybbert (Dan), Judy Johnson (Brian), and Janene Boyer (Bill); seven grandchildren, Rick Lybbert (Margo), Lisa Lybbert, Ryan and Phillip Johnson, and Ashley, Brittany and Nikki Boyer; brother, Jack Jarvis (Mary); and sister, Adelaide Healey (Russell); and late husband's brother, Nick Davis (Lenna).

A viewing will take place at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 So., Friday evening, December 29 from 5-7 p.m. On Saturday, December 30, viewing at 9:30 a.m., followed by funeral at 10:30 a.m. in the Evans & Early Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
