Jack L. Morris
Jack L. Morris, 82 of Elloree, died Sunday morning, Feb. 7, at the Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.
Mr. Morris was born March 18, 1927, in Greenwood, a son of the late Hollis and Bonnie Edwards Morris. He was retired from Southern Bell and served in the U.S. Navy, a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a daughter -in-law, Debra Morris and a grandson, Brandon Blake.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara S. Morris of Elloree; a son, Danny Morris and Sharon Askew of Branchville; a daughter, Sandra M. and Chuck Blake of Norway; two grandsons, Chris Morris and Patrick and April Blake; several great -grandchildren; two sisters, Kat Leopard of Greenwood and Bobbie Pruitt of Tampa, Fla.
Friends may call at Thompson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. before the service.
Memorials may be made to one's charity of choice.
