The first textile related industry at Mouth of Wilson Va was Wilborn's suit making business.
He was considered a master tailer and during the CW supplied most of the uniforms to the regimnments of the CSA in the area ibnclding the 51st va, 26th and 33 NC.
These suits were said to be exquisite and many men were burie din their suits even late into the 1920s.
Later some graves were robbed by souvenir hunters.

Before, through and after the war Wilborn hired out sewing to women in the community sometimes to war widows.
His daughters and daughters in lwa may have helped.
1870 MOW was a boom town with a sulphur springs, buisnmess of suits, leather goods, RM Lane saddles, medicine, flour, liquor, horses, blacksmith, cabinet makinh, candy and many Doctors.
There was a ferry run by Newt Halsey just upstream from the 1874 round house.
