According to the death certificate, Alice Power came to California in 1886, at the age of 33. She is found in censuses working as a domestic in San Francisco. According to the 1910 SF census, she married William G Hardy, an old soldier, in 1908, probably in San Francisco. There were no children. She is buried in Oakland with Peter Power, his brother Nicholas Power, and Alice's brother, Patrick Power.
