Billie "Bill" G. Barrett, 86, was a retired electrician for the city of Electra and a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years; a daughter; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Contributor: Searchers of our Past (47220553)Billie "Bill" G. Barrett, 86, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, in Victoria, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Hawkins Chapel Cemetery in Loving, Texas next to his parents and both brothers.

Mr. Barrett was born July 27, 1918, in Vernon,Texas. He was a retired electrician for the city of Electra, Texas for 35 years and also a veteran of WWII, having served in the Air Force as an air traffic controller in Burma.
Bill was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, June, of 63 years and his daughter Judy Carter of Missouri City, Texas, formerly of Victoria, and her husband Fred,three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Emma Barrett and 2 brothers Singleton Barrett and B.F. Barrett Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
