Lon M. Owens, age 87, died at 2:30 a. m., at his home in Clear Creek following a stoke of paralysis. Mr. Owens who had been employed in the stone quarries for twenty-seven years was retired. He was a member of the Christian Church at Guthrie.
He is survived by his wife, Alice T. Owens, three daughters, Mrs. Lois Caine, Mrs. George Stewart, and Mrs. Geneva Corbin, 20 grand children and 18 great grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the residence after 2:00 p. m. today. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p. m. at the Clear Creek church. Pallbearers will be Harold Stewart, Clarence Stewart, William Stewart, Albert Stewart, Hancel Owens and Kenneth Corbin.
