Obituary for Reva Joycelyn Harden Wells

Graveside funeral services for Reva Joycelyn Harden “Bebo” Wells, 81, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015 at Seville Cemetery. She died Friday night, Aug. 29, 2015, at Crisp Regional Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Cordele, Ga. to the late David H. Harden and the late Azzie Elizabeth Bennett Harden. She is the widow of Edward Franklin Wells. She is preceded in death by her son, Harold Edward Wells, and her brother, Billy Harden.

Reva retired from the Cordele Uniform following over 25 years of employment. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was very talented in her crochet work. She also had a love of flowers and gardening. Bird watching, singing and baking were also hobbies she enjoyed very much.

Survivors include her children: Joyce Wells Bergquist, James David “Buddy” Wells, Kathy Wells (Jimmy) Miller and Jeri Ann Wells all of Cordele; her sister: Elizabeth “Tillie” (Ferrell) Barfield of Seville; her grandchildren: Jeremiah Wells Bergquist of Brunswick, Timothy Harden Bergquist of Branson, Mo., Katelyn Elizabeth Bergquist of Cordele, Stephanie Dawn Wells of Columbus, Ga., Justin Edward Wagnon of Cordele, Joshua Corbin Wagnon of Cordele, Donald Wayne “D. J.” Jackson of Cordele and Laken Cheyenne Wells of Cordele; and 10 great-grandchildren.
