Paul Kenneth Peek went to join his beloved wife Rosalie on August 19, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orin C. Peek and Ethel Shanks Peek and his three older brothers.

Paul was born in Washington, Indiana, on February 29, 1920. He graduated from Washington High School in 1938. He moved to Texas and worked in Houston at the Brown Shipyards and later worked as a seismograph crew member in the early exploring for oil in the Louisiana-Texas Gulf Coast region. He moved to San Antonio in 1947 with Rosalie, his wife of 63 years, to embark on his career as a food broker.

In 1952, he helped in organizing the Los Angeles Heights Little League and served as an officer for 11 years. He was past president of the San Antonio Food Brokers Association. He and Rosalie were charter members of Blessed Sacrament Parish where Paul served as an usher for 46 years. Paul was also a charter member and past officer of the Knights of Columbus Council #7016 and 4th Degree Assembly #2102. Paul volunteered his time and energy to many local charities and organizations. Being a Texas transplant, he was particularly proud of the time he spent as a volunteer docent at The Institute of Texan Cultures. Paul's service and love of life characterizes the legacy of The Greatest Generation.

Paul enjoyed golf and served as a marshal for many years at local PGA events and at Olmos Basis Golf Course. He also loved dancing and the music of Big Band era.

Paul is survived by his three sons, Paul, Jr., and wife Phyllis, Alan and wife Janie, and Bob and wife Leigh. He was the proud grandfather of Scott, Jeff, Sally, Greg, Nancy, and Samantha and great grandfather of Ellie, Ashley, and Owen.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 12:30 P.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
