GUNDERT, Wanda Jean Passed away peacefully November 27, 2014 at Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento, CA.

She was 75. Wanda was born in Rogers, Arkansas, January 15, 1939 to Everett and Juanita Creech.

She was raised on the Creech farm, attended local schools and went to Little Flock Church.

After marriage to Lynn Benbrook, she lived with her parents, while Lynn served in the Marine Corps. Upon completing his service, they moved to Lodi, where they started their family having two sons, Chris and Donald. They then moved to Galt and separated shortly after.

She moved to Rancho Cordova where she became a cosmetologist and married Robert Gundert of Lodi.

After this dissolution she continued hair dressing and joined the Moose Lodge of Rancho Cordova where she met John Braun and spent the reminder of their lives together camping fishing and gambling at the local casinos until his passing in 2009.

She then moved back to Lodi where her health began to fail. Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Doctors and Nurses who cared for her duing her illness.

She is survived by her two sons, Chris (Christie) Benbrook of Lodi and Donald (Patti) Benbrook of Manteca; her brothers, John Creech of LaVern, CA; Donald (Sandy) Creech of Little Flock, Ark, Gary Creech of Rogers, Ark, her sister MaeBeth (James) Layes of Pea Ridge, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Juanita Creech, brother Bill Creech, and niece Jan Creech.

The Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge of Rancho Cordova, December 14 at 2pm.
