HAWKINSVILLE - Christine Rhodes, 86, of Hawkinsville, died in Forsyth, Georgia on August 11, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Thursday in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Bird and Rev. Bert Arnold officiating. Burial will be in the Pulaski Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rhodes was a native of Laurens County. She was a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church and a member of the Suzanna Wesley Sunday School Class. She was a retired Registered Nurse and was a Pink Lady at the Taylor Regional Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters: Linda Wallace of Forsyth and Jane Genten of Charlotte, NC; son, Phil Rhodes of Hawkinsville; sisters and brothers: Anna Woloch of Owega, New York, Mae Dawkins of Forsyth, Patsy Wooten, Judy Dawkins, Delmer Dawkins and Benny Dawkins, all of Florida, James Dawkins of Milledgeville and Carol Dawkins of Tennessee; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. Wednesday evening at the Clark Funeral Home.

The family will be at the Rhodes residence in Hawkinsville, GA.

Pallbearers will be Phil Rhodes, Ben Cooley, Larry Chandler, Rev. Bert Arnold, Kim Brock and Johnathan Brock.

Clark Funeral Home, Hawkinsville, in charge of arrangements.
