Fourth child of Sol-Eric Nilsson & Las-Brita Ersdotter. Nils immigrated on 07 May 1883 to America with his children after his wife, Kerstin Larsdotter died. They had married 31 Oct 1856 in Venjan Sweden. A daughter, Majt had died as an infant in Sweden. Son, Erik immigrated a year before his father and Erik's other siblings. Nils immigrated with his other 5 adult children: Brita, Anna, Ingeborg, Kerstin, Nels N. Orre. The family name Orre would change to Orrie over time.
The death of Nils was a shock to his community. The church, Lewis Lake Mission, had been built but there was no cemetery so Nils was buried at Dalbo, south of Lewis Lake.
