Glenn D. Loucks, 77, of Manchester, died at 6:20 a.m. Monday at Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village. He was the husband of Kathryn E. (Brenneman) Loucks.

The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, 66 S. Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in Manchester Lutheran Cemetery. Viewing will be 9:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church. The William E. Little Funeral Home Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Loucks was born Aug. 23, 1920, in Manchester. He was the son of the late Paul D. and Hilda M. (Shaffer) Loucks.

He was a building contractor, having retired. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the former Green Valley Ramblers String Band, and the former Happy Johnny Band, playing on radio stations in York and Baltimore.

Mr. Loucks also is survived by a son, Terry G. Loucks of Manchester; and a sister, Mary E. Aughenbaugh of Dover.

Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Danny P. Kingsborough.
