William Gotlieb Miller married Amanda Lenox 08 Dec 1864. She was the daughter of John and Hetty Stephens Lenox. William's parents were John Henry and Catharine Engel Eversman Miller. William and Amanda had eight children: Hettie, John Henry, Mamie, George, Sarah, Albert, Charles and Willie. They lived on a farm at the corner of Kohler Road and Washington Pike in Auglaize County, Ohio.
