Anita Ingersoll Minton Gwynne was the daughter of Charles Dennis Ingersoll and Katherine Corse Sanders Ingersoll. She was first married to Roger Medina Minton (1886-1954) of New York. The couple had one child, Anita Minton, before the marriage ended in divorce. After her divorce Anita moved to Santa Barbara, California. On June 28, 1928 she married New York stockbroker Walter Lee Gwynne. Her daughter became known as Anita Gwynne. Walter and Anita lived in New York and Bermuda before moving to Delray Beach, Florida. Anita's cremated remains are buried in the Gwynne family plot.
