In the 1901 Canada Census, farmer Ebenezer Hall, 81, born November 28, 1819 in N.B, was living in St. Stephen Parish, N.B. with Sarah, 73, born February 25, 1828; and farmer's son Lilley, 28, born November 10, 1872, both born in N.B.

On Thursday last a number of the children of E. HALL gathered at the parental house on the outskirts of St. Stephen to recognize his Golden Wedding. All the 13 children with whom the union of Mr. and Mrs. Hall have been blessed are living, though some are many miles distant. More than 40 grandchildren have been born and all but one, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. JACKSON who died in infancy, are alive. The children, in order of their birth are, George Wesley HALL of Baillie; Mary E. HALL, now Mrs. Joseph McVEY; Chas. W. HALL, now living in California; John W. HALL in Portland, Me.; Zachariah C. HALL in Minneapolis; Cynthia HALL wife of Arch. MAXWELL; Frank W. HALL in California; Sethly HALL in Portland, Me.; Unity HALL wife of C. JACKSON, Levi HALL, Addie HALL, Arthur HALL, Alfred HALL and Wilmot Tilley HALL, who are at home. Martin J. HALL came to St. Croix valley from the town of Litchfield in 1790 when 30 years of age and bought from John FRINK a fifty acre farm situated just to the south of the house now occupied by the subjects of this sketch. In the 1881 Canada Census, farmer Ebenezer Hall, 61, born N.B., was living in St. Stephen, N.B. with Sarah J., 52; lumberman Frank W., 22; lumberman Sethley H., 20; Unity, 18; Addie, 16; and farmer's son Levi,14; Alfred, 12; and Wilmot, 8, all born in N.B.

In the 1871 Canada Census, farmer Ebenezer Hall, 52, born N.B. was living in St. Stephen, N.B. with Sarah J., 42; farm laborer George W., 24; Mary E., 22; farm laborer Charles W., 20; John W., 18; Asenith, 16; Zachariah C., 14;
Franklin W., 12; Sethley E., 10; Unity, 8; Ada, 6; Levi, 4; and Arthur, 2, all born in N.B.

In the 1861 Canada Census, farmer Ebenezer Hall, 42, born N.B., was living in St. Stephen, N.B. with Sarah J., 33; George W., 13; Mary E., 12; Charles W., 10; John W., 9; Asenith H., 7; Zachariah, 5; Franklin W., 3; and Sutcliffe, 1, all born in N.B.
