Catherine (Cox) Hall-McMurray, 90, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home in Noblesville, IN. She was born February 23, 1925 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana to Lester & Lela (Ludlow) Cox.

Mary Catherine grew up in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon in 1942. After high school, she married and began a business, Hall’s Service Company in Mt. Vernon with her husband. Later, she began work at Keck’s Motor Company as a secretary and bookkeeper, where she worked for over 30 years. Mary Catherine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially at Disney World. She prepared the best family Thanksgiving dinner, bar none, that brought the entire family home to celebrate. Mary Catherine was an avid crossword puzzle fan; timing herself to see how quickly she could solve the daily challenge.
