Benjamin Lecil Gibson, born June 21, 1922, succumbed to old age on August 15, 2015. He was a master pipe organ builder and church musician who directed many concerts of J.S. Bach with the Bach Society of Greater Little Rock. His choir at Second Presbyterian Church was second to none during his tenure.

He is predeceased by his oldest son, Richard. He leaves behind two sons, Steve and Kelly; one daughter, Jean; four granddaughters, Kristin, Susan, Melissa, and Suzanne; one grandson, Jonathan; three great-grandsons; five nieces and one nephew.

Services will be at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Music Ministry, 1000 N. Mississippi Street, Little Rock, AR 72207. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
