Chuck was in Class of 1954, at Bentley Schools in City of Burton, Genesee County, Michigan.

Chuck graduated from GMI in the Electrical Apprenticeship program and went on to have a long, dedicated career with General Motors, working at Buick and Fisher Body-Grand Blanc, where he retired as a Facilities Engineer. Chuck enjoyed playing golf, bocce ball, following Nascar and solving crossword puzzles. In earlier years he was an avid hunting and fishing enthusiast. Chuck was always on standby to help those in need. His volunteerism and lifetime of service to others took him down many paths and into membership in many organizations. He was a life member of the Masonic Order, attaining the 32 degree. He was a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine, where he belonged to the clown unit and transformed himself into Nugget & Zany the clowns for the pleasure of hundreds of kids. Chuck worked tirelessly to raise money for the Shriners Crippled Children's hospitals. After moving to Florida in 1995, he joined the Punta Gorda Elks, where he devoted many hours working on projects to help raise funds. Chuck was also an associate member of the Araba Shrine, Fort Myers and on the Board of the Port Charlotte Shrine Club, where he was the Chairman for their newspaper drive.
