Doris A. Enders, 93, formerly of Tremont, died Wednesday at Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Newtown, March 20, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Earl J. "Sparky" Adams Sr. (a pro baseball player) and Bertha Frew Adams.
She was a retired local seamstress.
Doris was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Tremont.
Doris loved her family, friends and living life. She loved to travel every chance she got. She loved music, dancing, flowers, bird watching and her cats and dogs. She was a lady and will be sadly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin "Ferdjie" Enders, in 1987; a brother, Earl J. Jr.
Surviving is a daughter, Bonnie L. Raczka, Shoemakersville.
A memorial service was held at Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont, with the Rev. Tom Degnitz officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville
