Funeral services were conducted Friday at Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Ala., for Solan Stafford of Hazel Green, Ala., who died Tuesday (June 11, 1991) at his residence. He was 62.
The Rev. David Tipton officiated and burial was in Charity Cemetery, Madison Co., Ala.
Mr. Stafford was a native of Madison Co., Ala., son of the late Lonnie Bell and Odell Batt Stafford. He was a retired shipping clerk for an electronics Mfg. Co.
Surviving are a son, Mickey Ray Stafford of Haleyville, Ala; four sisters, Lois Riddle of Ardmore, Linda Smartt of Harvest, Ala., Avoal Rozell of Chicago, Ill., and Helen Miller of Hazel Green; a brother, J.L. Stafford of Pembroke, Ga,; and a grandchild.
