Dianna Kay Long passed away Wednesday, August 26th, 2015. She was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on December 16, 1942.
She is survived by her Son, Rick Long and wife Nita of Sapulpa, Daughter, Melinda Mast of Sapulpa, sister, Gayle Long of Sapulpa and multiple sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Dianna was blessed with three amazing grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Richard Long, her father James Kenneth Smith, mother Hazel Smith and Sister Connie Martin.
Dianna graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1961. She married the love of her life Richard on September 7th, 1962. Dianna loved being a wife, mother and homemaker. She actively sold Mary Kay for 15 years as well as working as a waitress at her brother-in-law and sister's restaurant Wimpy's in Sapulpa. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, working word finds and singing around the house. Dianna was loved by so many. Her kind spirit was infectious and she frequently brought laughter to everyone that knew her. She had many struggles in her time with us but her wonderful spirit would always shine through. Her family continued to love, support and accept her in all the phases of her life. There is a place she captured in her family's life that will never be replaced or forgotten. She was a broken angel here on earth but is now whole again, gaining her much deserved wings.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S. Main, Sapulpa, OK on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00pm also at Smith Funeral Chapel with Reverend Monty McGee officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Sapulpa, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa, OK.
