Brent Carl Wolf, 65, of Bourbonnais passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at River North of Bradley. He was born on October 24, 1949 in Kankakee to Lawrence H. and Hazel M. Travis Wolf.

Brent worked at A.O. Smith Corporation in Kankakee. Following that he became a city carrier for the Kankakee Post Office and was a member of the National Assoc. of Letter Carriers. He retired in 2013 with over 30 years of service.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was an avid NASCAR and stock car racing fan and went far and wide to watch them. He had a great group of friends who enjoyed coffee or lunch together almost daily following his retirement.

He is survived by his mother Hazel M. Wolf of Bradley; one son Shawn and Courtney Wolf of Streamwood, IL; one daughter Paula Budreau of Chebanse; one sister Judy and John Moore of Martinton. Brent loved his family, especially his three grandchildren, Kylie Budreau, Corbin Wolf and Carter Wolf.

He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Wolf and his sister Jackie Wolf Ogibovic.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

A private burial will be held at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
