Funeral services for Elizabeth Stoll Harrison, 89, of Glen Burnie will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Bishop Cummins Memorial Church, 2001 Frederick Road, Catonsville.
Mrs. Harrison died May 12 at her home after a brief illness. The cause of death was not available.
She was born Nov. 14, 1912, in Baltimore and graduated from Glen Burnie High School. She lived in Glen Burnie all of her life.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of Brooklyn United Methodist Church for many years, and also had played the piano for the adult Sunday school class there. She also was one of the original members of the Ann Arrundell County Historical Society. She helped organize the society's Browse and Buy Shoppe, which sells antiques and collectibles to benefit the society, and served on committees to help with the restoration of the Benson-Hammond House.
She enjoyed collecting antiques, decorative arts, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending her high school class reunions, and had attended them for more than 60 years.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Franklin Harrison; her parents, John Stoll and Stella Hammond Stoll; one brother, Robert Leslie Stoll; and one sister, Dorothy Stoll Oxley.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, William Franklin Harrison; one daughter, ... of Glen Burnie; one brother, ... of Linthicum; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Singleton Funeral Home, 1 Second Ave. S.W., Glen Burnie.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
