Bettye F. McCullough, age 88, of Brentwood, TN and formerly a longtime resident of Upper Arlington and Dublin, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Franklin, Tennessee. She was born July 21, 1927 in Nashville, TN, the only daughter to the late Paul Eugene and Addie (Stanfield) White. She will be dearly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Scott P. and Sue McCullough, Newark, OH, Todd A. and Jana McCullough, Brentwood, TN and Mark P. and Tammy McCullough, of Indianapolis, IN. Her 8 grandchildren, Justin, John, Katie, Amy, Leah, Seth, Julianne and Andrew and great granddaughter, Avery also survive. Besides her parents, Bettye was preceded in death by her husband, Paul V. McCullough; granddaughter, Megan McCullough and three brothers, Paul E., Milton and Deryl White. She was a graduate of David Lipscomb College in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. Bettye and her husband Paul were charter members of Fishinger and Kenny Church of Christ, where she was a former bible school teacher and a 50 year member. She loved to play the piano but more than anything she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who made her family a priority. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 am Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Fishinger and Kenny Road Church of Christ, 1130 Fishinger Rd, Columbus, OH 43220, where family will receive friends after 9:30 am Saturday until time of service. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family is asking for donations in memory of Bettye McCullough to Lipscomb University's Music Department, Attn: Advancement, 1 University Park Drive, Nashville, TN 37204.
