Hugh Ward, 56, Princeton, died at 2:39 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah following a brief illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morgan's Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Revs. Russ Davidson and James Noble McKinney officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lance Nichols Cemetery.
A native of Caldwell County, he was born Oct. 7, 1938, the son of the late James E. and Mary Elois Thomas Ward.
He was retired as assistant farm manager at the West Kentucky Correctional Complex and was a member of Beulah Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Heather Oakley Ward; a son, Jim Ward, Madisonville; two daughters, Mrs. John (Casey) Malone, Liberty, and Abby Ward, Princeton; three brothers, Buddy (Debbie) Ward, Princeton, Roger (Sharon) Ward, Fredonia, and Tom (Sandy) Ward, Caldwell County; and two sisters, Mary Lee Burkhart, Princeton, and Martha DeBoe, Caldwell County.
