"Believe in heavenly things."

Those are the words painted onto the wooden plaque that hung in Maria Pearl Miller's bedroom. 16 Year old Maria, died at Children's Hospital in Boston afer having suffered a brain aneurysm. After collapsing in the bathroom of Exeter High School on June 1, Maria was taken to Exeter Hospital and then to Boston via Med-Vac helicopter where she had stayed for 15 days in critical condition undergoing multiple surgeries to alleviate pressure.
Daughter of James and Lori (Davis) Miller. Loving sister of Lauren. She was an award winning honor student in the 10th grade at Exeter High School, who had a love of learning and studying languages. She greatly enjoyed working with children and aspired to be an early education teacher. She volunteered at the Exeter Day School summer camp, was a member of the Kiwanis Key Club, and a Communicant of Saint Michaels Church.
