EMPLOYMENT: Trucking companies, California. President of GI Warehouse and director of operations of GI Trucking Company in Los Angeles. City Market warehouse supervisor, Grand Junction, Colorado. RETIRED, age 62, worker @ City Market.

MARRIAGE: December 13, 1975, Valerie Elizabeth James in Orange County, California.

HOBBIES: Fishing. The mountains. His dog. Books. Relief wood carving. Home.

AMONG SURVIVORS: Two daughters from a previous marriage: Yvonne Lewis, Vancouver, Washington, and Brenda Lee York and her husband Ron in Sherwood, Oregon. Two grandchildren, Kayla Marie York and Tanner York. Wife Valerie. Brother Daniel Lewis and wife Peggy, Rochester Hills, Michigan. Sisters Donna Fisher, Vancouver, Washington, and Esther Peden, Wyoming.

PRECEDED IN DEATH by parents.
