DRILL FACTORY EMPLOYEE DIED SUDDENLY MONDAY
Charles Whitehead Met Death in Stockroom
The residents of Macedon were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Charles Whitehead, which occurred Monday morning. Mr. Whitehead had gone to his work, as carpenter on the new building being built by Bickford and Huffman company. He went into the stock room to get his tools and falling forward on his face expired before help could be given. Besides his widow he is survived by five children; Mrs. George Barnes, of Rose, George W., of Chicago; Jennie, Ruth and Gertrude, of Macedon.

MACEDON
Last Thursday while the funeral services of Charles Whitehead which were being held at the Baptist church, were about closing the high wind overturned a large tree in front of the church. The tree fell across the trolley and telephone wire delaying trolley traffic on the west bound track.
One of the spires from the cupola was also torn off by the wind and stuck through the roof.
A memorial service was held at the Baptist church Sunday by Macedon and Palmyra Lodges I. O. O. F. in memory Charles R. Whitehead.
