Sharon Heizelman, 69, Minot, passed away Saturday, August 15, at her home in Minot.

Sharon Anne Lynnes was born April 7, 1946, the daughter of James and Donna (Worrall) Lynnes, in Rolette, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1964.

Sharon married Jerry W. Heizelman September 27, 1964, in Minot, ND. They made their home in Hutchinson, KS, which lead to many moves and adventures between North Dakota and Oregon but eventually ending back in Minot where it all began. Sharon worked numerous jobs from secretary to warehouse, from grocery clerk to janitor. Sharon retired in September 2011. Her most important and best job was being wife and stay at home Mom.

She was a member of Camp Creek Church, Springfield, OR and Bible Fellowship Church, Minot, and then later of Southside Church of the Nazarene in Minot.

She enjoyed her family, reading, crosswords, and puzzles.

Her loving family includes: husband of 50 years, Jerry of Minot; sons, John of Sherwood, OR and Kevin of Minot; daughter, Tabitha of Minot; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Mauk of Cottage Grove, OR and Laurel Olheiser of Eugene, OR; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd; brother, Gary Lynnes.
