Funeral service for Mr. Edwin Dewayne Price, 83, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. Price passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on December 18, 1931 in Alexander City, Alabama to Edwin Jefferson Price and Jewel Baker Price. He was an accomplished artist and was a big jokester. He worked for over 50 years at Avondale Mills and missed only two days of work during that time.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Fuller (Curtis), of Alexander City, AL; sister-in-law, Anne Price of Arab, AL; Becky Welcher and several other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth W. Price; and grandchild, Jackey McWhorter.
