Born on May 31, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas and passed away on
August 25, 2015 in Dallas, Texas after a courageous 14 month
battle with lung cancer. He married Jana Grantland of Dallas,
Texas on April 26,1997 and they were blessed with a son, Jason on
January 12,1998.
Preceded in death by his father. Jack; his brother, Craig; and his
nephew, Christopher and his beloved dog Maxi.
Courtney is survived by his wife Jana Morgan; his son, Jason
Morgan; mother, Wilma Blackstock and step-dad, Billy; sisters, Jill
Fitzgerald and husband Don, Jana Glotzer and Kelly Karp and
husband. Randy; brother, Kim Morgan and wife, Nancy. In
addition Courtney is survived by 2 aunts, 2 uncles, and 11 nieces
and nephews.
Courtney was a loving son, brother, husband and father. Talented
for repairing anything, he was known for his quick wit, blue eyes
and his love for all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 29,
2015 at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 N. Peak St. in Dallas
TX. 75246 where Courtney was Building Superintendent for the
last seven years.
