Maudie Carlson rites set

Casper - Private funeral services for the family will be held Monday for Mrs. Maudie M. Carlson, 73, of Paradise Valley Health Care Center.

The Rev. Richard Gay of the First United Methodist Church will conduct the services at the Bustard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Carlson died Thursday evening at the health center after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 21, 1901 at Mount Morgan, Ky., and the family moved to Arminto in 1918.

On June 21, 1921 she married Arthur R. Carlson at Billings. They ranched in the Arminto area until 15 years ago, when she moved to Casper.

Mrs. Carlson was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are two sons, Glen W. Carlson of Casper and Bus Carlson of Hiland; one daughter, Mrs. Mary C. Day of Panama; and one brother, Ben Potter of Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1963.
