Gregory Paul Butler, age 51, a resident of Patterson, LA, passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at 4:35 AM at the Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, LA.
Visitation will be observesd from 8:00 A.M. until funeral services at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday August 8, 2015 at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ 1105 Railroad Avenue Morgan CIty, LA, with Stanley Rankins officiating the services. Entombment will follow funeral services in the Mausoleum Section of the Ibert's Memorial Park in Patterson, LA.
Gregory was employed as a Culinary Chef at Morgan's Restaurant here in Morgan City, LA
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Gregory are his loving wife, Ara Marie Butler; Gregory's parents, Joseph, Sr. and Mary Butler of Patterson.; four children, Gregory Paul Granger of Lafayette, LA, Jabari Wade Granger (Wanna), Onika Richardson and Eric King all of New Iberia; three grandchildren, whom he was very proud of, Jalanie, Morticia and T.K.; three brothers, Neal Butler, David Butler and Joseph Butler, Jr.; one sister, Berthena Butler-King all of Patterson, LA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Gregory was preceded in death by one niece and his mother-in-law, Gloria Verdine and his father-in-law, Willie Verdine.
