Bonnie Loraine Blair passed away at the age of 81 on August 21, 2015 in St. George, Utah.

Bonnie was born on June 20, 1934 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Harry and Vergie Ogden. During the Great Depression Bonnie's family moved around to places where there was employment. She spent her childhood in Colorado, Coos Bay, Oregon and Las Vegas, Nevada.

In December of 1949, she met the love of her life, Collice Pierre Blair, (Pete) Sr. in Bellflower, California. They married on July 8, 1950 in Colorado Springs, Colorado while he was stationed at Ft. Carson. To this union three children were born, Katherine Howell, of Grand Junction, and Pete Jr., of Cedaredge. Her youngest daughter, Connie passed away in 1989.

Bonnie was a devoted member of the LDS church, holding many callings. She is now in the loving arms of our loving God and his son, Jesus Christ.

Bonnie loved being an army wife and traveling to army bases here in the USA and overseas; these included Germany, Maryland, Texas, Illinois, Georgia and Kentucky.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Pete Blair Sr.; daughter, Kathy (Terry) Howell, of Grand Junction; son, Pete (Debby) Blair, Jr., of Cedaredge; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Barnes, of Scenic, AZ; brother, Walter Ogden, of Snowflake, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Bonnie’s memory to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org/donate

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Cedaredge Cemetery in Cedaredge, Colorado, with Bishop Nate Tullis conducting.
