Roland was a machine operator for the former Stroh's Brewery, Allentown, PA. for 20 years before retiring in 1992. Prior to he worked in the repair department for the former Roth Brother's Furniture Store, Northampton for 22 years. He was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Whitehall, PA. He served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors: He is survived by a brother-in-law; Dale Diehl of Allentown, PA; and 3 sister-in-laws; Fern Diehl of Schnecksville, PA; Lorraine Berta and Doris Moyer both of Allentown, PA.
Services: A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00am Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. with the Rev. William Falla officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am prior to the services. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
